Payments and settlements

The platform does not hold the buyer’s money and does not act as an intermediary in a traditional “escrow” scheme. Instead we provide tools (chats, reviews, verified accounts, offers) that help both sides agree on the terms of a deal and complete it safely.

Bank transfer

Most often used for higher-value deals. In the transfer always state the listing title or ID — this becomes the most important evidence in the event of a dispute.

• Make a transfer only when you see the item in person or have a reliable seller history (many positive reviews, a verified account).
• Never transfer to personal accounts abroad without a clear reason.
• Keep the transfer receipt for at least 6 months after the deal.

Cash at an in-person meeting

The ideal method for lower-value items. It’s recommended to pay at the same time the firearm transfer act is signed — money changes hands only once the item is already in your hands.

Internal payment on the platform

On some dealer listings you can pay through an integrated checkout window. Such listings are recognised by a green “Buy now” or “Buy for €X” (in the case of an accepted offer) button that leads to the checkout page.

   Check the seller before paying

   Look at whether the account is verified, how many reviews it has and on which listings they were left. Newly created accounts with expensive items and no history are a red flag.

   Arrange to meet in person

   Even if the deal is by bank transfer, it’s recommended to meet and inspect the item first. Choose a public meeting place (a shop, a shooting club, a police yard).

   Pay only with the item in your hands

   If the seller demands a deposit before shipping — negotiate COD (cash on delivery) or look for another seller.

   Keep all documents

   The bank transfer receipt, the chat history, the firearm transfer act — all of this may be needed both in a dispute and for the police.

When the “Buy now” checkout is shown

• On most verified dealer listings.
• When your offer is accepted — a green “Buy for €X” button appears in the chat.
• In special dealer-shop categories, e.g. ammunition and accessories.

Checkout steps

   Delivery information

   Enter or confirm the recipient’s address and contacts. The dealer will use them to issue the invoice.

   Payment method

   Choose between bank transfer, card or (on some listings) cash on delivery.

   Confirmation

   Once you confirm the order, you’ll get an email with the invoice and the seller will be notified. The order can be tracked in the “My purchases” section.

Buying from a dealer

• Standard consumer-rights protection applies — a 14-day right of return if the item is unused.
• Additional restrictions may apply to firearms and ammunition under Lithuanian law.
• For a return, first contact the dealer directly via the chat.

Buying from a private individual

• Standard consumer-rights protection does not apply — the deal is between two equal parties.
• If the item significantly does not match the description, a return can be requested by mutual agreement.
• An honest seller usually agrees to refund the money if a claim is made within 7 days.

• Private individuals are not required to issue invoices to each other — a transfer receipt is enough.
• Dealers issue VAT invoices. A company gets the right to reclaim VAT.
• NordGun’s commission for dealers is set by a separate contract and cannot be added to the buyer’s invoice.

The revenue summary and order pulse are available in the dealer panel /dealer. Each order’s status (pending, paid, shipped, completed) is shown on a separate card. Payouts happen on the agreed schedule — usually once a week to the account specified by the dealer.
